Description

Valmorel offers the ideal combination of Austrian "Gemütlichkeit" and French functionality. The traffic-free centre, with its typically Savoyard architecture, small boutiques, cosy taverns and rustic guest houses, spreads a hint of Mediterranean flair while just a few metres away the piste ends directly in the village. The quaint apartment accommodations, built with a lot of natural stone and wood, are located all around the centre with easy access to the piste. The attractive skiing area, offering 153 km of piste, leaves no wish unfulfilled. Valmorel – simply charming!

In front of the "Massiv de la Lauzière" and the "Cheval Noir" (2,832 m), Valmorel (1,400 m) is located not far from the famous "Trois Vallées". The award-winning resort with its charming stone and wood chalets was designed in the style of an original mountain village. The picturesque houses, narrow lanes, gateways and squares offer a cosy charm that is hard to find elsewhere in the French Alps. During the day you can experience a laid-back charm, and in the evenings you can enjoy a lively buzz in the shops, restaurants and pubs.
